The tropical storm killed 1836 people and there were 705 desapareced. The more affected zones were Bahamas, South Florida, Cuba, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida Panhandle,(most of eastern Noth America).

Yes, it was very sad. There was someone I know in the area at the time and we were scared because we could not contact her at the beginning.
