Where and when were you born?
I was born in Jamaica Queens, New York, on July 6th 1975.
What can you tell us about your family?
My mum died when I’ m a baby, so my grandfather and my grandmother looked after me. I don’t have any sisters or brothers, and I have never seen my dad.
What’s the best thing about being a pop star?
I love meeting people arround the world, and I’m excited when people see me when I’m singing. Are you doing anything unusual at the moment?
