This week in our We are the champions section we interview Rafael Nadal, the youngest competitor that has won a trophy in ATP.

How long have you played tennis?
I was four years old when I started to play with a ball. My father was looking at me and decided that I was going to become a professional tennis player.
And how often do you practise?
I train every day for approximately three or four hours, but at the weekend I only train for two hours on Sundays.
Who is the best player you’ve played against?
I have played against Juan Carlos Ferrero, who is the best tennis player! When
I compete against his I am always in a good mood.
What is the furthest distance you have ever travelled to play in a tennis competition?
When I compete every year in the Australian Open. But once when I was travelling to Wimbledon, my plane returned to the airport in Barcelona because I had forgotten my favourite racket!
