They have obtained prizes of MTV and Grammy. Michael "Flea" Balzary was the best bass guitar in 1996. John Frusciante was the best guitarist in 2003. And in 2007 they were the best international group.
The videos for their songs are really good and originals, they won the MTV in 2003 for best music video: Dani California.
