Let's try something new this year!!!

This is the first post, so there's not much to read yet. Why don't you have a look at the links?

• Those related to our school: other academic blogs, the school site, our NGO and the hiking school group;
• Those related to our town: the Town Hall site, the libraries and the youth center;
• Some useful dictionaries and encyclopedias to work on-line, both monolingual (only in English) and bilingual;
• A Cyber Listening Lab so that you can practise your listening skills on-line;
• Links to sites offering on-line dictations so that you can practise for the tests;
• The sites of 3 movie theaters in Barcelona where you can watch films in English (and read the captions in Spanish!);
• Both the British Council site and the Institut d'Estudis Nord-Americans one;
• British and American newspapers;
• British and American TV sites (check them out and learn about your favorite programs! You might get ahead of what we're watching here: House, Grey's Anatomy, Lost...)
• The VOA site (Voice of America): An on-line radio and learning site. Again, this is to practise your listening skills.

And have you read the instructions? Dark green for students in 4t ESO and blue for students in 3r ESO (the same color some of them are used to in the French Blog).

Well, I hope that you're going to participate and improve your English in a funnier way. Remember that you can always send clips, links to other sites...
