Hurricane Dolly started as a tropical storm across the Caribbean Sea the third week of July.
Hurricane Dolly brought destruction and caused seventeen deaths in Guatemala caused by heavy rain on the fringes of Dolly.
On July 22, hurricane Dolly became the second hurricane of the season and and the morning after it reached Category 2 intensity.
Dolly didn’t cause deaths in Texas but it became the most damaging hurricane to affect Texas since 2005.
The storm was dissipated on July 27 in Mexico.
