Coldplay was formed in London in 1997. The members are Chris Martin (vocalist, keyboard player, and guitarist), Jonny Buckland (guitarist), Guy Berryman (bassist) and Will Champion (drummer). All of the group’s member write songs. Coldplay’s first album, Safety, was realized in 1998. Parachutes became their first bestseller in 2000. Coldplay plays Britpop music. Some of their best-known albums are A rush of blood to the head, X&Y, Viva la Vida or death and all his friends. In 2003 they were awarded with two Grammies. Viva la Vida or death and all his friends is the last album of the group, it was recorded in 2008.
