Coldplay was formed in London in 1997. The members are Chris Martin (vocalist), Guy Berryman (bassist, Jonny Backland (guitarist), Will Champion (drummer) and Phil Harvery (manager).
All of the members write songs, but the most of the lyrics are written by Chris.
Coldplay’s first album was released in 2000. The albums which have been popular are “A rush of blood to the head” and “X&Y”.
Coldplay plays piano rock and Britpop music.
Their best songs are: “Yellow” and “Viva la vida or Death and All his friends”. Coldplay was awarded six prizes in total, two prizes in Grammy 2009 celebration and four prizes between 2003 on 2004 also in the Grammy celebration.
